1. With the Messenger Plus setup located (tpa_mp10.exe), double-click on it to begin the installation.
   
2. You will be welcomed by the setup program and prompted that no other instances of Messenger Plus be running.  This is absolutely necessary.  If you have another copy of Messenger Plus currently running, please use ALT+TAB to switch to it and exit it before continuing.  Click Next
   
3. Setup will now display the standard disclaimer.  Please read it thoroughly.  If you agree, click Next, if not, click Cancel.
   
4. Select Destination Directory: The default folder location for Messenger Plus's installation is C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus. We highly recommend keeping this setting.  However, if you are installing a second copy of Messenger Plus onto your computer, you would want to change the location of the Messenger Plus folder here.  To do so, click Browse and select a new location.  Click Next.
   
5. Backup Replaced Files: If you would like to backup and files that may be replaced during the installation, click Yes, otherwise click No.   By default, setup will create a folder in your Messenger Plus folder called Backup.   The backed-up files will be move here.  Click Next.
   
6. You will now be prompted the setup is ready to install Messenger Plus onto your computer!  Click Next.
   
7. Sit back and wait while setup installs Messenger Plus.  When it has finished you will be prompted as to whether or not you would like a desktop icon for Messenger Plus placed on your desktop.  Click Yes if you would like one, otherwise, click No.
   
8. You will now be prompted that the installation is complete. Click Finish.
   
9. You will more than likely be prompted to restart your computer.  If prompted to do so, then do *not* skip this step.  It is very important in the case of replaced runtime files.  To skip this step could potentially cause system errors causing you to restart anyway!  Click OK.

Messenger Plus will start automatically with Windows.
